The Home Automation Directory (Home-Automation.org) is the most complete online directory of
websites related to home automation. The goal of this website is to
be a starting point for finding anything you want to know about home automation.
The listings are organized into categories and each one has a short
factual description.
Why was this website started?
I found that
there were listings of home automation websites on Yahoo!, HomeToys, Dan Hoehnen's site,
and many other places, but there was no single complete, organized directory. The online
home automation community seemed to be fragmented into too many parts with no central hub
tying it all together. So I decided to create one.
After a few months of compiling every site from every source I could find
into one list, I launched this website. It is now the most
complete directory of its kind, with the number of visitors to the site
still increasing every month.
How do I add my website?
Click here and tell us your URL. That's
all you
have to do. We update our listings about once a month. All listings are free.
How is this website funded?
It's run mostly out of my own pocket. We do receive a small
amount of income from
"sponsored links" that appear
at the top of pages, but this income is generally less
than the cost of hosting the site. Our regular listings will always be completely
free of charge.
Privacy Policy
The Home Automation Directory does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal
information collected at our site.
The Home Automation Directory analyzes our website logs to improve the value
of the materials available on website. Our website logs are not personally
identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that
actually browse the site.
